Media Training

About media training

Sportsbeat is the press agency operation of News Associates, which is officially ranked the UK's number one journalism training provider by the National Council for the Training of Journalists.

AT WORK: Trainees working in one of our journalism classrooms, which sit alongside Sportsbeat's newsdesk in London and Manchester

In addition to teaching more journalists in the UK every year than anyone else - just over a third of trainees to graduate fully qualified last year attended our courses - we offer a number of media training options.

Our experience at the cutting edge of newsgathering and training makes us ideally placed to develop bespoke courses for those looking to gain experience of either working in, or working with the media.

We count numerous Premier League football clubs, the Professional Cricketers' Association and Sports Aid among our clients.

We also run regular short courses for those interested in a career in sports journalism.

All courses are held in our London or Manchester training centres, just a short walk from main line train stations. Email scolebrooke@newsassociates.co.uk for further information - or read more here.
