Sportsbeat partner with Paralympic World Cup for sixth year

For the sixth successive year, Sportsbeat will provide an official news distribution service for the BT Paralympic World Cup in Manchester – the largest annual international multi-sport competition in elite disability sport.

Sportsbeat will be sending out free tailored content on the elite international athletes competing across wheelchair basketball, athletics and swimming, while boccia and sitting volleyball will also be represented for the first time at the event.

A host of star names from home and abroad, including Ellie Simmonds, Oscar Pistorius and Daniel Greaves, will all be competing in Manchester – the last UK ‘dress rehearsal’ for next year’s London Paralympic Games.

The BT Paralympic World Cup will run from Monday May 23 through to Saturday May 28 – with copy available to sports desks either daily or as a wrap at the conclusion of the Games.

Subscriber sports editors have once again been encouraged to treat the Sportsbeat reporters as an extension of their desks – with copy being written to length, bespoke and, of course, to deadlinesPictures available on request to accompany copy.
