SSE NextGen - 'supporting the next'
SSE has been a partner of SportsAid since 2013 and is working with the charity, 40 years old in 2016, to help young athletes achieve their ambitions.
Our job is to tell the story of their SSE Next Generation athletes as they make their journey towards sport’s biggest stages.
From workshops to roadshows to special appearances and experience days – we deliver content on every supported athlete to their respective regional media.
And we also work with some of the big name ambassadors associated with the scheme to produce content, including Olympic legend Sir Chris Hoy, Olympic diving medallist Leon Taylor and Judy Murray.
We also manage the social media strategy for the initiative on Twitter and Facebook. In 2015 we delivered nearly two million pound of media value to SSE and were retained to work on the scheme again in 2016.
