Sportsbeat ready for the start of the Commonwealth Games
National press agency Sportsbeat is providing a range of media and press support services to clients during the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Sportsbeat’s seven-strong team in Glasgow will be fronted by sports editor Ryan Bangs, with the reporters led by managing editor James Toney, who is covering his fifth Commonwealth Games.
Tailored coverage will be supplied across Sportsbeat’s network of regional press clients and also run extensively on online clients, including Yahoo! Eurosport.
Sportsbeat is also working closely with Commonwealth Games England to assist their communications team with a range of press support services.
Our team designed and edited the official Team England Handbook – an exhaustive 260-page guide to all 17 sports and every single member of the squad and their achievements.

In addition, Sportsbeat reporters will be supplying a news service of flash quotes and breaking news to all accredited media.
“The Commonwealth Games is traditionally one of the biggest events we cover,” said Sportsbeat’s executive editor David Parsons, who will oversee all coverage from our newsdesk in London.
“Following on from our work with the British Olympic Association at London 2012 and Sochi 2014, we are delighted to be working with Commonwealth Games England and we’re looking forward to having plenty of success to report on in the fortnight ahead.”
