Sportsbeat win European Swimming and World Curling digital briefs
Sportsbeat has been appointed to manage the digital strategy for two major sports events heading to Scotland in the next 12 months.
The agency will deliver an integrated campaign on digital, social and video for the 2019 European Short Course Swimming Championships and next year’s men’s World Curling Championship.
Sportsbeat fulfilled the same brief for the recent UCI Track Cycling World Cup in London and European Indoor Athletics Championships in Glasgow. The agency is currently working as the host news service for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup and was appointed to manage the digital content for the Netball World Cup in Liverpool later this year.
“We’ll be using all our content creation skills, from video to graphics to syndication, to tell the story of these two amazing sports events,” said Sportsbeat’s editor-in-chief David Parsons.
“We’re delighted to be working with the great team at Glasgow Life again following our previous successful collaborations. The success of the Commonwealth Games five years ago and last year’s European Sports Championships has established Scotland as Europe’s events capital.”
