For news tips, filing copy and press releases
Journalists filing copy via email should send their work pasted into the body of their email. ALWAYS call our news desk on 0203 026 3780 to make sure ORDERED copy has arrived.
Work placements
We try to accommodate work placement requests but demand always exceeds supply. To take up a work experience place you must be a minimum of 18 years of age and studying, or have a place to study, at an NCTJ accredited journalism school.
However, please note, preference will always be given to trainees studying on courses provided by our partner News Associates. Please email deputy editor Luke Baker – lbaker@beatmediagroup.co.uk – for more information.
Our award-winning journalism training
Sportsbeat partners with News Associates to run a unique NCTJ-accredited Diploma in Multimedia Sports Journalism at our offices in London and Manchester. The course has been recognised as the top NCTJ journalism course in the country for the last four years (2018, 2017, 2016 and 2015).
