Sportsbeat clients star in Sports Industry Awards shortlists
Sportsbeat clients – including SSE, npower, Premiership Rugby and Eurosport – feature prominently in the shortlists for the prestigious BT Sport Sports Industry Awards.
The agency provided a range of services from editorial and social media support to content creation and syndication to the nominees, who will compete for honours at the ceremony in April.
We’ve helped activate SSE’s sponsorship of the FA Women’s Cup since 2015 – and were delighted to see them shortlisted in the event or competition sponsorship award.
For four seasons, we’ve covered every step of each team’s journey on the road to Wembley. We’ve told the story in text, pictures and video across digital, print and social media, generating millions of pounds of media value.
We’ve helped promote their hugely successful SSE Wildcats initiative, which now provides exclusive football opportunities for girls aged between five and 11 at over 800 centres across the United Kingdom.
We were also pleased to see npower recognised for their work with Team England during last year’s Commonwealth Games with a nomination in the individual or team partnership award.
Sportsbeat’s team on the Gold Coast helped tell their story of their partnership, syndicating a range of multimedia content across our media network, achieving coverage across the national and regional press plus digital and social channels.
We were delighted to see Premiership Rugby’s nomination for sports organisation of the year – having recently extended our relationship with the league to a sixth season.
Sportsbeat content powers all Prem Rugby’s digital and social channels telling the story of the league and their partnerships.
Long-time client Eurosport was also recognised for their brilliant coverage of last year’s Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. Sportsbeat’s team in South Korea helped promote their status as the new ‘Home of the Olympics’ with an extensive content creation and syndication service.
“Seeing so many familiar and friendly faces on the various shortlists was superb and fingers crossed for all our clients on awards night,” said Beat Media Group managing director James Parsons.
