sportsbeat strengthens strategic and development leadership team

Content and communications agency Sportsbeat, part of Beat Media Group, has strengthened its senior leadership team with two new appointments.

Alice Permain joins the agency – which counts Team GB, Champions Cup Rugby, Premiership Rugby, ParalympicsGB and the International Cricket Council among its client roster – as Head of Content and Strategy.
Permain arrives from the Federation Equestre Internationale in Lausanne where she was responsible for broadcast and digital sports content while Mark Malavan arrives as Business Development Director.

They join the agency after a series of new business wins, including the appointment as the digital agency for British Athletics and next year’s World Gymnastics Championships, in addition to a series of new PR and comms briefs, with clients including the National Lottery and Eurosport.
