Sportsbeat are recruiting for our social media and strategy team and looking for content producers  with a love and passion for telling the stories of athletes at the peak of their game.
We work with some of the biggest organisations in sport with a mission to produce best in class digital content.
From Team GB to Premiership Rugby, British Athletics to the Heineken Champions Cup – are you an innovative content creator with a passion to produce creative content on every channel, from TikTok to Instagram?
A passion for sport, stories and strategy is our first requirement but any of the below would be great too – don’t worry, we’ll invest in the right candidate with further training opportunities.
– A creative brain with an eye for a good story & the ability to write compelling copy
– Strong knowledge of all key social media platforms & how they integrate within a social media strategy
– Strong ability to multi-task & think on your feet
– Experience with running paid social media campaigns
– Basic skills within Adobe Creative cloud.
– Experience utilising video clipping platforms such as WSC, Grabyo & Tellyo
– The ability to keep up with & adapt current trends
– A critical brain with an understanding of the role social media plays in the sporting market & the potential pitfalls that can arise.

Experience working within the sporting landscape would be a bonus, as would any experience with Illustrator & Photoshop with Premier.

Sportsbeat, part of Beat Media Group, is a full-service content and communications agency, and we are looking for a talented journalist to join our Twickenham-based team.
You’d be finding your name in the pages of national and regional media titles and working alongside some of our blue-chip clients, including Team GB, Six Nations Rugby, Football Association, The Open, Champions Cup Rugby, Premiership Rugby, and British Athletics.
You’ll need to know your up-and-under from your triple salchow, your LBW from your VAR and appreciate the difference between a hurdle and chase.
Football is important but if it’s your first, last and everything this role is not for you – we covered nearly 50 different sports in 2021.
With a 50-strong team of specialists – from strategists to journalists, videographers to graphic designers, social media producers to broadcast consultants – we offer a complete omnichannel solution to teams, brands, leagues, events, and media rights holders.
Ideal candidates will have at least two years newsroom experience and background in creating content in a variety of forms, including interviews, reports, and features.
You must be able to produce well-written and absorbing sports content, ensuring copy is clean, clear, accurate and informative.
We are looking for a reporter with a wide sporting knowledge (an interest and knowledge of horse racing would be a bonus!).
You’ll have to love sport, be a team player and a great all-rounder, with the ability to write and edit content to tight deadlines and have a strong knowledge of various content management systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience working online and knowledge of SEO best practice, while understanding the role social media plays in selling and presenting content.
This is not a position for a journalism starter – you must be unflappable under pressure and deliver work at a consistently high standard, taking initiative and willingness to adapt, with the experience of working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Candidates will need to have a full NCTJ diploma in journalism, including 100-words per-minute shorthand and should possess a full clean driving licence.
Enthusiasm and a love of digital media and working across social media accounts, as well as a track record in print is essential, plus have a flexible approach to working hours and weekends are a necessity. We are looking to fill the role promptly.

Our team produces OTT video and social media content for a wide range of national governing bodies, major event organisers, sports, brands, and agencies as well as producing audio, text, and a wealth of media for syndication to UK-wide media and broadcast outlets.
Although not limited to, the main clientele we work with are of a sporting nature – ranging from official websites for sport brands and associations, online videos, press interviews on site and supporting events and awards.
We work with official sponsors of sporting events and teams to create creative content as well as working within the mixed zones at events, tournaments, and championships.
As the direct production team has expanded to 11 full-time members of staff, we are looking for a Production Manager with experience working on branded content and non-live projects, who has a passion for sport to join this talented team to oversee delivery of exciting video and animation projects
Reporting to the Head of Production, the Production Manager will oversee and contribute to the smooth running of production across multiple projects.
Whether you are acting as the main point of contact for clients; creating shoot briefs and call sheets; producing risk assessments; organising kit for shoots; scheduling crew (inhouse and freelancers); managing shoots on location, assisting with team appraisals, it will be your fantastic organisational skills that ensure all multimedia projects are managed effectively, on time and within budget.
To qualify… You should be a Production Manager / Junior Production Manager / similar with a CV that demonstrates:
· Proven experience within the production process.
· Experience in producing call sheets and risk assessments.
· You are flexible with hours and days due to the nature of Sport.
· You are highly organised.
· Good social skills and the ability to manage tricky situations.
· You are confident to lead and motivate a team.
· The ability to work as part of teams in a fast-paced production environment.
· You are time conscious; you don’t miss a deadline.
