Sportsbeat was appointed by Horse Racing Ireland, the national authority for thoroughbred racing in Ireland, to design and deliver a new digital strategy across their channels. Working with their stakeholders, including their courses and sponsors, we’ve increased cadence of posting, grown followers and seen a dramatic rise in engagement.

Racing’s is Ireland’s most famous sporting export – with jockeys, trainers, owners and breeders enjoying success at the sport’s biggest meetings.
Our strategy has been to tell this story across HRI’s digital estate, with a strong focus towards vertical video.
We’ve also sought to make previously static channels move, with animated graphics presented with a fun and inclusive tone of voice.
Our Cheltenham Festival campaigns have year-on-year increases to engagement and follower growth – working with influencers and racing stakeholders, including broadcasters RTE and Racing TV, to create compelling content, differentiated across the target demographics on HRI’s channels.
