Over six million pounds of media value secured for National Lottery in 2020.
Sportsbeat is the retained agency for the National Lottery Promotions Unit. Our 25th birthday coverage in 2019 – words, pictures and videos – appeared across national and regional media and the Lottery’s own channels, working with talent to secure more than £4m of media value.
In 2020 we have produced content strands focussed on the revised ‘One Year to Go’ landmark for the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics and a #ThanksToYou campaign which profiled community heroes of the Covid-19 pandemic across arts and culture, charity, heritage and sport. The campaign has generated more than 1000 items of coverage across national and regional broadcast, print and digital media in November and December. In the build-up to the rescheduled Games, we’ll be telling the stories of athletes selected for the Games with a brief to generate high-profile coverage across the regional media.
